NCT ID: NCT05502822 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging

High Definition Transcranial Alternating Current Stimulation (HD-tACS) for Post-stroke Aphasia

Start date: March 18, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To investigate the intervention effect of high definition transcranial alternating current stimulation(HD-tACS) in chronic post-stroke aphasia and its underlying neural mechanism by MRI.

NCT ID: NCT05194566 Recruiting - Post-stroke Aphasia Clinical Trials

Neuro Device for Aphasia

Start date: September 6, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the trial is to determine whether 75Hz transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) synchronized with therapeutic linguistic tasks is an effective form of therapy for post-stroke aphasia.

NCT ID: NCT04081207 Recruiting - Aphasia Clinical Trials

Using Augmentative & Alternative Communication to Promote Language Recovery for People With Post-Stroke Aphasia

NAIL
Start date: September 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The currently available interventions only partially restore language abilities in patients with post-stroke aphasia; preventing successful reintegration into society. This study will increase our knowledge of how we can use assistive technology interventions to help people with aphasia restore language function. Further, this project will help us identify regions of the brain responsible for these changes.
