Effects of Workstation Ergonomics and Physiotherapy in Cervicogenic Headache.

Cervicogenic headache (CgH) is a distinct form of headache and accounts for 17.8% of all headaches and the prevalence rate is between 0.4% and 20%. A guide to health and safety in the office handbook by common wealth of Australia (2008) suggested the ergonomic guidance and interventions for preventing and treating musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) injuries in the office workers. Also, It has been estimated that 34% of US citizens receive some sort of physiotherapy for CgH each year. However, no studies have compared and investigated the combined and individual effects of workstation ergonomics, physiotherapy and patient education for improving cervicogenic headache and work ability in office workers.

Postdural Punction Headache After Ceserian Section

The aim of this study is to compare the effect of spinal needle type on postdural puncture headache in patients who will undergo cesarean section. The main question[s] it aims to answer are: [Does spinal needle thickness affect postdural puncture headache?] [What is the response of patients who develop postdural puncture headache to treatment?] In cases accepting cesarean section operation under spinal anesthesia, different tables were used with spinal needles, and it will be questioned whether headache will develop in the first 15 days postoperatively. Postdural puncture headache after surgery will be described.

Aim of this study is to compare the effects of deep neck flexors stretching versus muscles energy technique on pain, cervical range of motion, sleep disturbance and cervical spine posture in patients with Cervicogenic headache and interpret which technique is better among both.A randomized control trial that will include total 28 participants.The first group will receive deep neck flexors stretching along with conventional therapy and 2nd group will receive muscles energy technique along with conventional therapy.Data collected will be analyzed through SPSS 25.

Biofeedback-VR for Treatment of Chronic Migraine

Migraine is a common, debilitating neurologic condition affecting more than 900 million individuals worldwide. Established treatments for migraine include medications, vitamin and herbal supplements, neuromodulation, and behavioral treatment strategies. This study aims to determine whether a novel, home-based behavioral approach, combined biofeedback-virtual reality therapy, can improve self-reported migraine-related outcomes in individuals living with chronic migraine. In this randomized, controlled pilot study, 50 adults with chronic migraine are randomized to the experimental group (frequent use of a heart rate variability biofeedback-virtual reality device plus standard medical care; n=25) or wait-list control group (standard medical care alone; n=25). The primary outcome is reduction in mean monthly headache days between groups at 12 weeks. Secondary outcomes include mean change in acute analgesic use frequency, depression, migraine-related disability, stress, insomnia, and catastrophizing between groups at 12 weeks. Tertiary outcomes include change in heart rate variability and device-related user experience measures.
