NCT ID: NCT05255952 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Cardiac Insufficiency

Epicardial Stimulation of the Cardiac Autonomic Nervous System

EpiCANS
Start date: August 16, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The objective of the EpiCANS study is to evaluate the technique of stimulation of the cardiac autonomic nervous system (SNAC) directly at the epicardial level in humans during heart surgery. Proof of concept study

NCT ID: NCT03882580 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Cardiovascular Complication

Reporting, Evaluating, Preventing and Treating the Cardiotoxicity Induced by Anticancer Drugs During a Specific Cardio-oncology Consult and Follow up in Routine Care

NEOCARDIO
Start date: March 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Several Drugs used in routine care in oncology induce rare but often severe or fatal cardiovascular or metabolic side effects. This study will investigate, evaluate, report and treat the cardiovascular side effects of anticancer drugs, through a specific cardiovascular routine checkup and follow-up taking place in several Cardio-oncology programs throughout France. The different including centers will be: Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris (APHP.6: Pitié-Salpétrière, Saint Antoine and Tenon's hospitals, Paris, France).

NCT ID: NCT03673631 Recruiting - Cancer Clinical Trials

Oxygenation Methods and Non-invasive Ventilation in Patients With Acute Respiratory Failure and a do Not Intubate Order

OXYPAL
Start date: August 7, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

ICU care of patients considered "palliative" but without contraindications to admission to intensive care, for whom a do-not intubate order decision was made upon admission represents a particular target for non-invasive oxygenation techniques. The benefits of non invasive ventilation (NIV) in this population are debated especially in cancer patients. The more recently used nasal humidified high flux canula oxygenation (HFNC) therapy may have benefits over NIV in these patients. It is supposed to have better tolerance and could allow better compliance and thus higher efficiency. These potential benefits are major for such a population for which tolerance and symptomatic relief are priority goals

NCT ID: NCT03648736 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Cardiac Insufficiency

Time Course of Circulating Myocardial Biomarkers After a TASH Procedure.

TASH
Start date: October 10, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The study evaluates the released myocardial substances in blood of HOCM patients after TASH procedure (small "controlled" myocardial infarction). This helps to identify new pathomechanisms and biomarker and thus provides a better understanding of development and progress of cardiac insufficiency.

NCT ID: NCT02862197 Recruiting - Clinical trials for End Stage Renal Disease

Invasive Monitoring of Pulmonary Artery Pressure (PAP) Among Dialysis Treated Patients

Start date: November 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is examine whether invasive pulmonary artery pressure (PAP) monitoring could be beneficial for the patients in dialysis treatment. Ten implantable pressure sensors (CardioMEMS ®) will be implanted and the PAPs of the individual participants are recorded during and in between the routine dialysis treatment sessions. This is an exploratory pilot study, where major interest lies in the values and changes in PAP in relation to other hemodynamic parameters among patients in dialysis treatment. Implanted device is only monitoring the patient without any effect on the actual treatment.
