NCT ID: NCT06180525 Recruiting - Bone Tumor Clinical Trials

Radiological Evaluation of 3D Printed Porous Collars in Hip and Knee Resection Prostheses: Pilot Study.

COLLARS
Start date: December 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study aims to evaluate the osseointegration of 3D printed porous collars in hip and knee resection prostheses, in order to eliminate one of the causes of diaphyseal osteolysis, which often lead to loosening of the implants, and therefore to guarantee a further improvement in fixation of the implants in terms of both primary and secondary stability.

Start date: July 12, 2023
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

9 participants are expected to be enrolled for this open,Single-armed clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the recombinant herpes simplex virus Ⅰ, R130 in patients with advanced bone and soft tissue tumors.

NCT ID: NCT06008483 Recruiting - Solid Tumor Clinical Trials

A Dose Finding Study to Treat Bone Tumor(s)

Start date: April 5, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

To determine the Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) of CycloSam®, Samarium-153-DOTMP (Sm-153-DOTMP), a radiopharmaceutical that delivers radiation to the bone when injected, given as a tandemly administered pair of doses to subjects with one or more solid tumor(s) in the bone or metastatic solid tumors to the bone that are visible on bone scan.

A Clinical Study on Oncolytic Virus Injection (R130) for the Treatment of Relapsed/Refractory Bone and Soft Tissue Tumors

Start date: April 10, 2023
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

20 participants are expected to be enrolled for this open,Single-armed clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the recombinant herpes simplex virus Ⅰ, R130 in patients with relapsed/refractory bone and soft tissue tumors.

NCT ID: NCT05779670 Recruiting - Osteosarcoma Clinical Trials

Adherence to a Personalized Home Exercise Program in Patients With Bone Tumor Undergoing Lower Extremity Salvage Surgery

ADER
Start date: January 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The objective of this study is to describe adherence to a personalised home exercise program in patients undergoing resection and reconstruction of lower limb for bone tumor and neoadjuvant chemotherapy treatment in the first six months after surgery intervention and investigate possible prognostic factors.

NCT ID: NCT05772312 Enrolling by invitation - Osteosarcoma Clinical Trials

Quality of Life of Patients With Bone Tumor of the Lower Limbs Treated With Salvage Surgery

Onco-QoL
Start date: January 17, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of the study is to describe, through a minimum follow-up of 18 months, the quality of life of patients undergoing salvage surgery of lower limb for musculoskeletal tumors and to identify possible prognostic factor correlated. Quality of life will be evaluated with Bt-DUX (Bt=bone tumor)

NCT ID: NCT05732558 Completed - Bone Infection Clinical Trials

Augmented Reality Navigation System (Endosight) for the Guidance of Bone Biopsy

Start date: December 16, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical study is to evaluate the duration of the procedure, the precision (distance between the needle tip and the centre of the target), and the safety of endosight system in the guidance for bone biopsies.

NCT ID: NCT05631002 Recruiting - Spinal Tumor Clinical Trials

Chemical Shift Encoding-based Water-fat Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Spinal Tumors

Start date: August 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Fat composition of the spinal tumors is positively correlated with classification and differential diagnosis of benign and malignant tumors.

NCT ID: NCT05515068 Not yet recruiting - Osteosarcoma Clinical Trials

Registry For Children, Adolescents And Adults With Osteosarcoma And Biologically Related Bone Sarcomas

COSS-Registry
Start date: September 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The Registry For Children, Adolescents And Adults With Osteosarcoma And Biologically Related Bone Sarcomas (COSS-Registry) is a non-interventional, multicentric, international, clinical and epidemiologic patient registry. The COSS-Registry collects key data on osteosarcomas or biologically related bone sarcomas. With that data collection we want to gain new scientific insights and results about this tumor disease, prognosis, surveillance and long-term effects. Besides the data collection we would also like to foster the collection of biomaterial (tumor specimen and blood samples) for scientific research. The stored material will be used to perform cell and molecular biological analyses to identify the causes of osteosarcoma, the prognosis and possible new treatment options. As a starting point the donated biomaterial of registered patients will be analyzed firstly for the presence of a tumor predisposition by germline mutations. In case of detected genetic variations that are related to the tumor disease and which may affect the patient's health and follow-up care (because of the potentially increased risk of developing other malignant tumors), affected patients will be informed and referred to genetic counseling. Registry patients will be asked at the time of diagnosis if they wish to be informed about germline variants detected as part of the study procedures.

NCT ID: NCT05075889 Completed - Bone Tumor Clinical Trials

Utility of ICG in Benign Bone Tumors

Start date: November 11, 2021
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Patients with a biopsy-proven benign bone tumor for which standard of care is intralesional operative management will receive a weight-appropriate IV dose of indocyanine green (ICG, FDA-approved) the day prior to surgery during their standard pre-operative clinic visit. On the day of surgery, fluorescence images will be obtained using a non-invasive fluorescence camera.
